BOULDINAIRE LABRADORS

Beth Wilkerson

My name is Beth Wilkerson. My husband and I have been actively breeding, showing, and hunting our Labs for more than 40 years. Our kennel name originated from Bouldin Island, a 6000-acre farm located between Rio Vista and Lodi, California. My father-in-law, Clyde, was the farm manager there for over 30 years. After the corn harvest, the fields were flooded and the fun would begin! We cherish the memories of hunting, training, and playing with our Labs. We would always say "We may not be millionaires, but we are Bouldinaires” for we have known wealth in our experiences with our dogs, friends, and the most spectacular waterfowl and upland bird hunting along the Pacific Flyway.

Retirement is wonderful! I retired from 25 years as a veterinary technician, and my husband, from more than 30 years in fabrication. We are never bored. We love our farm located just west of Port Angeles, Washington. It is surrounded by lush forest, the Olympic snowcapped mountains, and ocean. Our days are filled with our dogs, fishing, hunting, hiking, gardening, and riding. The Labs share our home; they are not kept in a kennel environment. The farm is securely fenced with several large yards and covered porches. When we are outside they have free roam with us. They are our family, and we love having more time to spend with them.

TUSCANY LABRADORS

Lisa Colombani

My kennel name is simple, Tuscany is the region in Italy where my family originated. A region known for its Art, Architecture, and Landscape of vineyards, hills, and beautiful beaches. So, it just made sense to have that for the name of my kennel. It represents the beauty and functionality of the Labrador Retriever. A breed that has been near and dear to my heart ever since that Christmas when I was ten years old. My Uncle Bruce wrapped a bow around the neck of Jake, my first yellow male. Jake's unconditional love created a bond that I have always cherished with the loyal Labrador Retriever.

A little bit about us. Tuscany Labradors is located in Northern California nestled between San Francisco and Sacramento. I am a teacher at a local Juvenile Hall and Tim is self-employed with scuba diving and boats, which makes the ideal situation for raising puppies and caring for our dogs. Our schedules allow us to provide round-the-clock care for our puppies, which enables us to help out other breeders with whelping of their litters when they are unavailable. I was very fortunate to learn a few tricks of the trade from Beth over the years and whelping is something we love. Our dogs are our family. They even have their own pool! We live together, hunt together, train together.
