About Us

BOULDINAIRE BASSETS

Basset Hounds have always been part of our family. They always make me smile, and provide comedy relief in this sometimes overly serious life! Breeding and showing bassets is a new endeavor. I have a wonderful mentor and friend, Sylvie McGee of Heavenscent Bassets who has guided me in this new adventure. 

My first showgirl Bliss, CH Heavenscent A Little Love To Bouldinaire, I purchased from Sylvie. She finished her championship title soon after turning a year old! Bliss produced my first Basset Hound litter, easily whelping eight healthy pups. They were so much fun! Much different than Lab babies, in a good way.

The litter has grown up beautifully—healthy, typey, biddable, and joyful! Three have finished their championship titles before reaching 18 months of age—Flash, CH Bouldinaire Twice As Fast, Rosco, CH Bouldinaire Hot Pursuit, and Lucy, CH Bouldinaire I Luv Lucy.
